The journey begins in Mumbai and moves through Nashik, known as India’s Wine Capital. Here, you can walk through vineyards and enjoy wine tastings in peaceful surroundings. Next, you visit Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where ancient rock-cut temples show the rich art and history of India.
From there, the train takes you to Aurangabad, a city full of Mughal history. After that, you will stop in Jalgaon to explore the world-famous Ajanta Caves, known for their old paintings and carvings, some of which are over 2,000 years old.
The trip continues to Kolhapur, where you can visit the grand Mahalakshmi Temple and see local traditions like wrestling and colourful local markets. Then comes a relaxing visit to Goa, where you can enjoy the sea, visit old Portuguese churches, and taste fresh seafood.
